Operationl Results 1st Half of 2018

In the frst 6 months of 2018 the transshipment of cargo via Giurgiulest Internatonal Free Port operated by Danube Logistcs SRL increased by almost 30% reaching 412.769 tons in comparison to the same period of prior year. 56% or 231.694 tons of the total bulk cargo transshipments volumes consisted of the export of Moldovan grain, oil seeds, vegetable oil and molasses. So far 25% of total bulk cargo transshipments, about 100.000 tons consisted of the import of mineral oil products. In comparison with the prior year the import of constructon materials, coal and pet-coke via Giurgiulest Internatonal Free Port has almost tripled reaching 81.481 tons.

Giurgiulesti International Free Ports (GIFP) entire 120 ha territory has a status of a free economic zone and consists of an oil product terminal, a grain terminal as well as a general cargo and container terminal including a RoRo ramp (start of operation by September 2011).
