AmCham Moldova presented the Third Edition of AmCham METRIX 3.0 - the Moldovan Economic Transformation and Reform IndeX, a structured platform designed to assess how government policies impact the business environment and to support more predictable, competitive, and evidence-based regulation.
The new edition brings forward an updated perspective on Moldova’s economic transformation, combining business perception, policy impact assessment, and forward-looking analysis in the context of Moldova’s EU integration path.
The discussion focused on the findings of a nationwide Business Perception Assessment, reflecting how companies experience current policies and their implementation in practice. Experts also examined how changes in tax, trade, and labor policies influence Moldova’s competitiveness, with comparisons to Eastern European EU accession peers. A dedicated component addressed future regulatory developments, including Moldova’s EU accession commitments and their expected impact on the business community.
The discussion sessions brought together multiple representatives of public authorities, alongside business leaders and experts, ensuring a constructive exchange on key policy priorities and reform directions.
Through METRIX, AmCham Moldova continues to provide a data-driven contribution to the public-private dialogue, helping identify practical policy solutions that can strengthen the business climate, improve regulatory predictability, and support sustainable economic growth.
The event was supported by Visa, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Chisinau, Victoriabank, with Forbes Moldova as media partner.
