AmCham Addressed the Risk of Blocking Imports of Equipment Containing Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases
AmCham Moldova reacted promptly to concerns raised by companies importing equipment containing fluorinated greenhouse gases, including air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, and initiated dialogue with the relevant authorities.
A working meeting brought together representatives of the Ministry of Environment, the Environmental Agency, the Economic Council to the Prime Minister, AmCham member companies, and other industry operators to examine difficulties related to the application of new import requirements.
The business community highlighted the potential impact of import blockages on supply chains, commercial contracts, investment projects, and end consumers, while also proposing practical solutions to prevent disruptions to economic activity.
