AmCham Moldova - 10 Years of Excellence in Advocacy for Improvement of the Business Climate in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 October 2016. The American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (AmCham Moldova) celebrates its 10th anniversary; through these years AmCham has built up and maintained a constructive dialogue in a spirit of cooperation with the authorities of the country, international institutions, donors and civil society, to ensure a transparent and fair legal framework.

AmCham celebrated its 10th anniversary with member companies, dialogue partners and relevant media. AmCham was honored at the anniversary by the presence of Mr. Pavel Filip, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, H.E. James D. Pettit, US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova and H.E. Pirkka Tapiola, Head of the EU Delegation to Moldova, as well as representatives of state authorities and businesses in the country.

High guests appreciated AmCham contributions expressed by quality expertise and initiatives to resolve the constraints that entrepreneurs can encounter in relations with state authorities. Concerning areas, among others, are customs procedures, licensing and standardization, price regulation policies, taxation, etc. AmCham members have consistently submitted recommendations to public authorities so that together with decision-makers promote coherent policies in line with implementation mechanisms, for the benefit of the whole society.
