PILnet`s Survey on Pro Bono in Eurasian Countries

  • 07.12.2018

This survey was prepared by PILnet, an international NGO that promotes pro bono as an instrument for social justice over the last two decades. PILnet has been active in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia since mid-2000s and has helped local partner organizations in selected Eurasian countries. Now the organization is exploring the ways in which it can help in further developing pro bono practices in Eurasia.

The goal of this survey is to collect lawyers' perceptions, attitudes, and experiences with regard to pro bono in the "Eurasian" region, the term that in this instance refers to the following countries, listed alphabetically: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

If you are a lawyer practicing in one of these countries, you have a unique chance to help PILnet shape their future projects to make law more accessible and to help the legal profession to become real advocates for social change. Your views and insights are appreciated even if you do not believe in pro bono. The survey should take no more than 15-20 minutes.

Take part in the the survey, in English or Russian
