Global Impact Competition CEE&SEE 2012

AmCham Hungary partnered with Singularity University (SU), a Silicon Valley-based institution founded by NASA and Google, in a unique and truly inspiring project, the Global Impact Competition CEE&SEE 2012. The competition aims to encourage innovators from the region to apply and present their projects with the potential of improving the standard of living  health, education and security  of 1 million people in the region in the next 3 years through the use of any kind of exponentially improving technology.

The application deadline is April 2, 2012.

The projects will be evaluated and shortlisted to 10 finalists by an international jury, led by ex-Yahoo deputy CEO Salim Ismail. The finalists will present their projects on May 4, 2012 in Budapest at the Global Impact Competition 2012 Finals. The winner will receive a scholarship to the 2012 Graduate Studies Program at Singularity University worth $30 000.
