On January 30 and 31, AmCham attended the meeting of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister.
During the meeting the provisions of the draft law on infringement procedure in the field of prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, and the methods for applying sanctions were discussed.
The need for further debate of the law arose due to the deficiencies identified by the business community.
Earlier this week, AmCham submitted a position paper on the draft law containing 18 proposals on more than 30 articles.
