On June 20th, AmCham Moldova brought together its members for a Business Breakfast with Mr. Abdoulaye Seck, World Bank Country Manager for Moldova.

Mr. Seck spoke during the breakfast about what he sees as quintessence to improve Moldova’s rankings in World Bank’s reports: growth of governmental accountability and transparency. He also highlighted the World Bank\'s importance in providing policy advice, while noting the need to continue the implementation of the projects aimed to help Moldovan citizens to have a better life.

Members had the opportunity to question Mr. Seck, bringing valuable topics related to the economical & political situation in Moldova. Answering to the questions Mr. Seck outlined that there are many areas in which AmCham and the World Bank activities and priorities will overlap and that these two organizations should work more closely on the matters of common interest.
