Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

Our headquarters is located in downtown Chisinau, Moldova, where our group of cross-functional experts assembles to create experiences for Crunchyroll and VRV’s passionate communities.

About The Team:

At Crunchyroll, the People team in Moldova leads many efforts including partnering with managers across the organization on people management, policy and procedure development, employee records and information maintenance, as well as employee relations, advocating for employees, and keeping a pulse on morale and evolution of the company culture. We are a diverse group of individuals who are passionate about HR and its critical impact on an organization. Our broader People team consists of HR Business Partners, People/HR Operations, Recruiting, Workplace Operations, and Learning, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement.

About You:

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team who will be responsible for aligning global business objectives with employees and management. HR Business Partner responsibilities will include aligning staff to strategic objectives, improving staff performance, supporting employee development, planning strategic HR initiatives, communicating role expectations, crafting succession plans, maintaining staff relations, running internships, updating and developing policies and guidelines, and leading all aspects of wellness and health initiatives. Your experience in human resources management will add value to the business, providing HR solutions, resolving personnel grievances, retaining the workforce, and supporting compliance with regulations. If you believe you possess the dedication, character, and skills to become part of our innovative team, we would like to hear from you.

5+ years of experience as HRBP or other related Lead positions;
Knowledge of Moldova Labour Legislation
Proven experience working in a tech company
Excellent administration and organizational skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to develop trusting relationships and influence at all levels within the organization to achieve business results
Possess outstanding discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
Exceptional advising, coaching, and facilitation skills 
Fluency in English, Romanian and Russian
Computer literacy and the ability to operate with Microsoft Office & G Suite products

A day in the life of our HR Business Partner:

Coordinating all HR initiatives with senior management for accurate implementation. Using collaborative processes to implement initiatives
Managing employee benefits programs and communicating with employees about benefits.
Coordinating legal and regulatory compliance in areas of employee and workplace policies.
Conducts meetings with managers.
Collaborate with line management, providing HR policy guidance and interpretation when appropriate.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Provides performance management mentorship to line management
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Performs other related duties as assigned
