Improved regulations on the manufacture and circulation of alcoholic products
On March 31, 2022, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova adopted the law for amending the law on the manufacture and circulation of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic production.
AmCham has actively promoted the exclusion from the draft law of the new ban on applying the "sticker" label on alcoholic products. The business community has expressed concern that the new ban would have resulted in the disappearance of several categories of alcoholic products from the market, especially those from imports.
AmCham is delighted with the new policy win and the fruitful cooperation with the Government and Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.
