Meeting with Medicines and Medical Devices Agency
On August 20, AmCham Moldova met with Zinaida Bezverhni, General Director of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency.
During the meeting, the business community presented to the new director the main areas of activity of the Healthcare Committee, as well as the priorities of collaboration with public authorities.
Participants discussed topics that have a major impact on the activity of pharmaceutical companies, such as pricing of medicines, public procurement processes in the healthcare sector, ethical criteria for promotion of medicines, the need to develop new laws on medicines, pharmaceutical activity and medical devices.
The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency expressed its openness to collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to implement good practices and boost the pharmaceutical market.
* The AmCham Healthcare Committee serves as a forum for pharmaceutical producers and distributors of medicines and medical devices and acts as a representative body in the dialogue with healthcare policy and decision-makers.
