Committee Spotlight – Trade and Manufacturing

  • 10.09.2018

There have been several changes in the previous year to several pieces of legislation, including the Customs Code. These changes, aligned to the move towards harmonization of legislation in coordination with the EU – Moldova Association Agreement, will continue to take place into the foreseeable future. As part of this process, the AmCham Trade and Manufacturing Committee has been reviewing proposals and key changes to legislation; most recently submitting comments to the Government on proposed changes to the Customs and Civil Code.

Meeting on a regular basis, the committee provides a valuable voice for companies that work in or whose work is related to the Manufacturing industry, as well as those who work in Transportation and Logistics. The committee provides member companies with an outlet to express their opinions and thoughts on these changes, through an outlet whose voice is listened to. This benefits not only individual businesses, but the business community as a whole.

Make your voice count in the Manufacturing Industry. Find out how and join today by contacting Adrian Gheorghița, Committee Coordinator at adriangheorghita@amcham.md
