National Bank of Moldova responded to AmCham's letter regarding high volatility of the national currency
Recently, AmCham office received an answer from the Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, Mr. Dorin Dragutanu, regarding AmCham’s letter on the recent fluctuations of the national currency.
The Governor thanked AmCham for its dedication to improving the business climate, as well as reiterated his openness for dialogue and cooperation with the business community. Mr. Dragutanu stated that although the exchange rate plays a very important role in regulating market economy, National Bank’s main mandate is to maintain price stability.
