AmCham Legal Committee members participated this week in an online meeting to discuss current legal issues encountered by the businesses.
The committee members discussed the Decisions of the Commission for Exceptional Situations and the uncertainties of their interpretation and application.
Participants also consulted on the application of the Civil code provisions that regulate the non-fulfillment of the obligations due to an impediment beyond the control of one party and on the correct application of the provisions of the Labor Code on technical unemployment.
The committee members agreed on the need to clarify several provisions of the Decisions of the Commission for Exceptional Situations and to initiate discussions with public authorities in this regard.
