Trade and Manufacturing Committee Meeting

Members of the Trade and Manufacturing Committee participated in a Committee meeting on the 28th of October to discuss the following topics:

• The progress recorded as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Customs Service;
• The clearance facilities package initiated by the Customs Service and their efficiency (click here to view the full presentation);
• The initiative of Customs Service to merge and decentralize customs posts (click here to view the initiative);
• The draft Government Decision on the GD 600 regulating the procedure of determining the customs value of goods (click here to view the draft GD);
• The certification procedure in trade activities.

An action plan was set up in order to continue the dialogue with the Customs Service and to promote further necessary law and/or regulation completions and/or modifications.
