About us

The American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (AmCham Moldova) is a non-governmental non-profit organization, founded on September 4, 2006. As a member of the international network of 112 AmChams from 99 countries worldwide, AmCham Moldova connects businesses and business leaders to share the common goal of bringing the entrepreneurial spirit and the cultures of Moldova and the United States closer together.

AmCham Moldova`s membership, currently encountering 63 members, is composed of a diverse spectrum of businesses, from large foreign investors to small goods and service providers that operate within Moldova, as well as Moldovan companies of all sizes that are pursuing trade with the United States.

Our Mission is to promote American trade and investment in Moldova and to work with the Moldovan Government and business leaders to foster a more favourable business climate in Moldova for foreing trade and investment.
 

Accreditation with the United States Chamber of Commerce

In February of 2008, AmCham was officially accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  The accreditation was a milestone for our organization and means that AmCham Moldova is now officially recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and linked into the global network of more than 100 American Chambers of Commerce worldwide. Accreditation with the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce

AmCham Moldova received word of its accreditation with the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce (ECACC) in March, 2008.
