Obviously, Western countries as well as international organizations in the field have become aware of its malignant impact on fostering the adoption of international instruments such as the Anti-Bribery OECD Convention, the Partnership Against Corruption - the World Economic Forum, the United Nations Convention Against Corruption, the latter being ratified by the Republic of Moldova in 2007.
