KPMG Moldova: New amendments brought to the Fiscal and Customs Policy for 2015

Please find bellow a summary of the most important proposed changes published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova no. 102-104:

Amendments of the Law no. 146-XIII of 16 June 1994 regarding state companies
Under the proposed changes, the list of audit companies dealing with auditing the annual financial statements of state companies, will be approved annually by the Ministry of Finance. Moreover, the appendix to the license for the audit activities should include at least 2 qualified auditors and their experience should be demonstrated by a minimum of 10 audit missions annually.

Amendments of the Law no. 1134-XIII of 2 April 1997 regarding joint-stock companies
Under the proposed changes, the list of audit companies dealing with auditing the annual financial statements of the companies in which the state share exceeds 50% of the share capital, will be approved annually by the Ministry of Finance. Moreover, the appendix to the license for the audit activities should include at least 2 qualified auditors and their experience should be demonstrated by a minimum of 10 audit missions annually.
