AmCham Moldova Celebrates 11 Years of Activity!
On September 4, AmCham celebrated its anniversary. 11 years, through these years AmCham has built up and maintained a constructive dialogue in a spirit of cooperation with the authorities of the country, international institutions, donors and civil society, to ensure a transparent and fair legal framework.
AmCham has evolved into a large, strong, and dynamic business association. The main asset AmCham has acquired in these years is, of course, a broad and diverse membership. Currently, AmCham represents companies from 22 countries, 34 industries, giving jobs to almost 27 424 people.
The last years were marked by another increase in AmCham’s membership, but also impressive retention of long-standing members, so, now, AmCham Moldova proudly presents more than 116 American, Moldovan, and international companies.
In the next years, we will continue to advocate for a more transparent legislative process with public consultations and real regulatory impact assessments; we will continue offering networking opportunities, keeping best-rated traditional events, but also looking for some new formats. Another important trend will remain educational and knowledge sharing activities within AmCham, as we consider that smart business regulations can only be promoted by companies with best internal business practices, educated personnel, and highest business standards in place.
