Updates on ”Build the Capacity of Business Associations to Participate in Governance” Project

On June 15, AmCham shared its experience on advocacy with sectorial associations. The course is aiming to help identifying and prioritizing the advocacy initiatives.


On May 2, AmCham led an informative discussion with sectorial associations on communication tools. The meeting was brought to share effective tools and utilities for communication, and to discuss how these can be improved to increase BSO visibility.


On April 18, AmCham delivered a training on planning and carrying out advocacy activities, based on AmCham Moldova experience.


On March 3, AmCham Moldova met with ATIC (Moldovan Association of Information and Communications Technology Companies) to identify the current concerns of ICT sector and set up a long-term goal of cooperation between AmCham and ATIC. This is aimed at improving the overall IT parks legislation, intellectual property rights, and other issues related to information technology and telecommunications in the Republic of Moldova.


On February 28, AmCham Moldova met with APIUS members to discuss the Labor Code amendments, to identify the main concerns the industry is facing and set up a long term goal of cooperation between AmCham and APIUS aiming at improving labor legislation and exclude the current gaps in the national labor regulations.


On February 24, AmCham Moldova met with ONVV (Vin Moldova), to identify the current concerns of winemakers regarding the technological process, certification, and export. The meeting was organized within the ”Build the capacity of business associations to participate in governance” Project.


On February 23, AmCham had an interactive discussions with Asociatia Nationala pentru Turism Receptor on the current legislative issues of the tourism sector, and perspectives of legal and regulatory framework for the sustainable development of the industry. 

On the same day, Adrian Gheorghita, AmCham Deputy Director shared his experience on collaboration with Customs Service. The information was shared with Asociatia Patronala din Industria Usoara (APIUS) members, within the ”Build the capacity of business associations to participate in governance” Project.
