Public consultations with Competition Council

Tax & Legal Committee has finalized with success public consultations with Competition Council on review of the draft Regulations designed to enforce the law on competition.

AmCham members were especially interested in reviewing draft Regulations referring to approval of economic concentrations and procedures referring to identification of dominant position and abuse of dominant position.

With this round of public discussions, AmCham members had a true possibility to address any question or propose any recommendation, while Competition Council showed openness in accepting the majority of the proposed recommendations.
