Yesterday, the AmCham office hosted a session with Merike Kaeo (Chief Technology Officer at Farsight Security, Inc.), an expert with over 25 years of experience in pioneering global Internet technology deployments and developing new evolving security initiatives.

The presentation shared an in-depth approach to the problem of security in the current period; starting with the lack of transparency in the security policies of devices and companies’ protocols.

More and more questions raised on cybercrimes, methods to secure the companies and the rising need to grow internal resources to handle breaches, bugs and other errors; moreover, companies must build trust in people, learn from incidents and create values centered around integrity and trust.
