AmCham members met Mr. Andrian Candu, Speaker of the Parliament in a Business Breakfast organized on November 15.
The discussions featured the role of the Parliament in the process of transposing the European Directives; the role of regulatory impact assessment within the legislative initiatives lead by deputies; as well as instruments to be used by business community to interfere in the legislative process when necessary. At his turn, Mr. Andrian Candu assured AmCham members that regardless the result of the presidential election, Republic of Moldova will not abandon the European integration course and we will continue to implement the reform agenda. Therefore society and development partners must closely monitor how laws and reforms are implemented in Moldova.
