USAID BRITE Program invites economic agents to a training course on the implementation of the drawback provisions.
Beginning with January 1st, 2016, companies that are located in Free Economic Zones or hold an inward processing authorization are required to pay the import duties on the non-EU components of the final product, in order to receive the proof of origin (the Article 14 (Prohibition of drawback of, or exemption from, customs duties), Title IV, Protocol II of the EU Association Agreement with Moldova).
As the Customs Service issued an Order aimed at the implementation of the ”drawback provisions” by elaboration of instructions on the methodology of customs duties payment, and performed several improvements to the “Economist” and “ASYCUDA” software; the seminar will be focused on the application of the new rules.
The seminar is open for participation for economic agents operating within the Free Economic Zones or operating under inward processing regime (lohn contracts), customs brokers, logistic companies, etc..
