On November 21, AmCham Moldova brought together its members for a Business Breakfast with H.E. Head of the European Union Delegation to Moldova. H.E. Mr. Tapiola reiterated that the Association Agreement with the EU will boost the development of the Moldovan economy, but the people must have realistic expectations as the agreement is just a small part of hard work we have to do further, in terms of real implementation of reforms. He assured that Moldova will be further supported by the EU in implementing the initiated reforms.
Members had the opportunity to question H.E. Mr. Tapiola, bringing valuable topics related to the economical & political situation in Moldova. In responding to the questions, Mr. Tapiola outlined that the role of business associations is very important in the work with the Moldovan government and business leaders, thus fostering a more favorable business climate in Moldova for foreign trade and investment.
