New Changes to the Internal Trade Law

  • 20.01.2017

During last weeks, AmCham was involved in several meetings regarding the changes brought by the Parliament on internal trade. The new provisions entered into force on January 1 and affect directly the retailers.

They are forbidden to: collect any payments from producers; to return unsold goods to manufacturers, at the same time, all unsold goods should be disposed at own expenses; the payment period between suppliers and sellers was reduced to 30 days.

AmCham will send comprehensive recommendations to the authorities in order to find an equitable solution for all participants involved in this field, such as producers, distributors, or retailers.
