On the 4th of July 2015, the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova celebrated the 239th US Independence Day together with its members, partners and the U.S. Embassy representatives. This year’s family picnic took place, yet again, at the lovely ‘Golf Club’, where we received a warm welcome and great facilities for spending a wonderful day out. The opening speech was held by Mrs. Cristina Harea, President of the AmCham Board of Directors, followed by Mrs. Megan Bouldin, Deputy Chief of Mission, US Embassy.
In the midst of great weather, amusing competitions, delightful food and a splendid atmosphere, we added a touch of Latin flavor to our party this year, dancing to the rhythms of salsa and bachata with Latin-inspired children’s drawings swaying in the breeze. Children relished a range of activities organized by FasTracKids and McDonald’s, whilst adults enjoyed cold drinks and an opportunity to network and meet potential partners.
The guests of the party took part in our very exciting charity raffle which culminated in a series of exciting gifts being given to the lucky ticket-holders.
We express our sincere gratitude to our sponsors and partners for their collaboration, participation and for devoting so much time, effort and funds to organizing this event.
We thank all the guests who attended our party, hoping you have had a marvelous day, and wish to see many more of you at next year’s party!
