The intergovernmental presentation of UNCTAD’s Investment Policy Review of Moldova will take place in Geneva, Palais des Natons, on 30 April 2014, from 10:00 to 13:00. The event will be attended by H.E. Mr. Octavian Calmac, Deputy Minister of Economy, and other senior officials of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
The Investment Policy Review is a diagnostic of the legal and regulatory framework for investment which makes concrete policy recommendations on how beneficiary countries can improve their investment climate, attract higher inflows of foreign direct investment and benefit from them. During the event, these recommendations will be discussed with the member states of UNCTAD and established investors in the Republic of Moldova.
The event will offer unique insight into the Republic of Moldova’s environment and its opportunities for investment. Participants will also have the opportunity to exchange views with the Government representatives during the luncheon and side events that will follow the presentation of the Review.
