On June 28, 2023, in Chisinau, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, along with members of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and US Ambassador Kent Logsdon, discussed the government's mission to modernize localities, ensure citizens' security, and contribute to income growth while addressing the challenges faced by the business environment.


The Prime Minister emphasized that revitalizing the economy, which has been affected by regional and global crises, is a top priority for the Cabinet of Ministers. The government remains focused on enhancing productivity, reducing bureaucracy in the business environment, and providing stability and predictability for investors.


Prime Minister Dorin Recean stated, "Business people are the government's primary partners in driving economic development and improving the population's prosperity. We are building Europe within our borders by developing the economy and fostering an educational system producing skilled professionals."


During the discussion, the Prime Minister and AmCham representatives highlighted the importance of effective communication between institutions, establishing a transparent regulatory framework, and developing new financing and guarantee mechanisms for the business environment. AmCham members shared the concerns and issues significant to the business community in Moldova, expressing their confidence that these matters will remain a priority on the government's agenda.
